I'm kind of scared to meet some of my favourites
I don't know why, the ones I've met so far haven't been a let down. The bash in Cornwall was one of the funniest times I've had, and I've laughed an awful lot over the years.

Meeting Monty was one of the best moments of my life.
Not even going to lie. Anyone who saw my face will testify to that. I think I've got to the point where I've met most of the people I want to meet. Would like to meet you at some point, of course.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:02, Reply)
Naturally. Likewise.
I have a horrible feeling I'll disappoint people. A few have told me I am near the top of their lists of folk to meet.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:03, Reply)
I was terribly disappointed :(

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:05, Reply)
I don't know how you can lie like that
*sobs*
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:06, Reply)
I was not disappointed by you!
You are one of the loveliest b3tans I've met.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:06, Reply)

b3tans people

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:07, Reply)
I'll toast my vimto to that

Cheers guys.

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:08, Reply)
I don't think I've been disappointed by anyone.
Of course there have been the people I'd rather not ahve met...
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:05, Reply)
Bloody hell Lamps.
He's an absolutley smashing chap but srsly.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:04, Reply)
I was so shocked I almost fell over
and Crow had to block my fall with his flannel shirt. That was my introduction to him.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:06, Reply)
I really am quite serious
next year there needs to be a cornwall/devon surf bash.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:03, Reply)
the issue with that is the unpredictability of the weather
and that a lot of people aren't so keen on camping.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:04, Reply)
I hate camping but a B3ta camping bash would be awesome.

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:05, Reply)
It would be carnage
but in a really good way.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:06, Reply)
Can I also stipulate that there must be toilets.
Doesn't have to be great toilets but toilets nonetheless.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:07, Reply)
not a problem

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:08, Reply)
I'd love to come to this.
Please make it happen.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:09, Reply)
It's gaining momentum I think
I've spoken to a fair few people who are interested. Easter is pretty late next year, we could do it then?
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:10, Reply)
sounds good to me
I typically go camping then anyway.

The place I have in mind is about halfway betwixt Newquay and Padstow.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:11, Reply)
What are the trains like from London?

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:12, Reply)
not too bad actually
takes 5ish hours to get to Newquay.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:13, Reply)
RIGHT.
When this happens, I propose several b3tans get the same train so I'm not eating myself through boredom.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:14, Reply)
sensible
you are all keeping me from having a joint though, so I will speak to you tomorrow I suspect.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:16, Reply)
To Newquay,
probably not that amazing. But I would be driving so can pick you/anyone else up from Bristol.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:14, Reply)
we could rendezvous by Exeter and form a convoy so no one gets lost

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:15, Reply)
Awesome.
I really hope this comes off.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:15, Reply)
:D
I would love this.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:11, Reply)
it's been bandied around before
and berk seems very keen indeed, so we'll try and make it happen.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:10, Reply)
berk just wants to add you to her man mountain

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:12, Reply)
she'll have to join the queue with the rest of them

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:13, Reply)
THERE IS NO DAMN MOUNTAIN

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:14, Reply)
*Donovans*

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:16, Reply)
Every campsite I've ever been to has toilets and showers!
are there really places that don't nowadays?
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:08, Reply)
They are called "France"

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:10, Reply)
They generally just lack toilets* as a nation
*And standards
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:12, Reply)
That's why you go to France when you want to have sex
But you still dont get any.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:14, Reply)
You make me sadface
sadfaceturgid
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:16, Reply)
Never been camping in France
mainly because of the stories I've heard.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:12, Reply)
I am the king of camping.
I'd make sure you enjoyed it. Particularly if we were to go to my favourite spot, because you can have fires and stuff.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:07, Reply)
Which makes you King Camper?

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:08, Reply)
it does not

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:08, Reply)
Ooh! Get you!

(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:09, Reply)
Possibly Rutland Water in April, may be a calendar item in the new year if I can get a bunch of locals interested too.
Should be able to put something together.
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 22:10, Reply)
Camping is awesome
People are lame :(
