I must be awful and admit now that I struggle to tell all the various british/scottish/irish accents apart.
they don't sound the same to me, but I can't tell which one is which..

I can tell scotch from irish most times
but I couldn't tell you where in scotchland or where in irish the accent is from.

Some norn irish accents can be taken for scottish
don't worry though, mistakes rarely end in knee-capping.

You know, I actually feel much better hearing that. :)
I mean if people who've lived in great britain all their lives can't tell which is which, what hope have I?
I do quite like the scottish accents though.
