It protects cell membranes from oxidation by reacting with lipid radicals produced in the lipid peroxidation chain reaction.

Improves the condition of your skin in some way.
It's a bugger to work with as it's really thick and gloopy, plus it takes forever to dissolve in the premix vessel.
