(, Fri 26 Nov 2010, 23:21, 1 reply, 15 years ago)

(, Fri 26 Nov 2010, 23:56, Reply)
Just the red wine.
I'm nowhere near the point of being unable to stagger to bed though.

Hope the lurgy dissipates soon.
(, Fri 26 Nov 2010, 23:58, Reply)
Thanks, I hope so too
ah you're at the lovely stage of just feeling quite happy and at ease then. Got a nice weekend planned?
(, Fri 26 Nov 2010, 23:59, Reply)
Waiting in for a plumber tomorrow
to fix the fucking heating that went off this afternoon. Rockncuntingroll.

The wine is also going to run out soon, after which I fear it shall be the Ouzo...

Yourself?

just nipping for a fag, back in a bit
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:04, Reply)
I imagine you need the wine to keep warm
maybe if you knock the ouzo back fast, you'll get the benefit and not the taste.

I'm hoping I'm better by tomorrow, because I have a house party on Saturday in London, then meeting Lampito for a bit, then hopefully bash in the evening
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:10, Reply)
I love Ouzo.
We're supposed to be at the Manc bash next week, but it depends on how much it costs to sort the heating :(
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:12, Reply)
then get some and enjoy it :)
I'm down in London anyway for my friend's party, so I thought I might as well stick around and say hi to people
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:15, Reply)
Sorry Amberl.

given the queue I think I was quite fast
(, Fri 26 Nov 2010, 23:54, Reply)
what did you get?
i still have guerlain seahorses, unopened. might have to rape a couple!
(, Fri 26 Nov 2010, 23:55, Reply)
I did a ridiculously
rubbish and self indulgent shop. Cranerry juice, satsumas, a City Kitchen meal, milkybar yoghurts, Relentless, imperial mints, some crisps and a Hello Kitty advent calender
(, Fri 26 Nov 2010, 23:59, Reply)
I've decided my healthy/losing weight kicks starts on Monday.
It'll mean I have to buy FRUIT and VEGETABLES and USE THE KITCHEN but I'm sure I can jiggle it around to include GIN. It's juniper berries and that counts as fruit, right?
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:05, Reply)
yeah
especially if you have a fruit juice with it
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:06, Reply)
Sippin' on gin and juice
I'm excited for OH MY GOD IT'S TOMORROW. Do you want to do anything in the day? Where is your party, I could meet you somewhere in Central.
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:13, Reply)
Leyton
yeah it'd be nice to see you during the day :) I might not be up to huge amounts of walking, but coffee and shopping would be nice!
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:14, Reply)
WHERE THE FUCK IS LEYTON
Hmm. The place where I'd quite like to take you would require a little bit of walking- have you ever been to Brick Lane? I know a couple of places that would be nice for lunch/coffee/midday boozin', and the most amazing shop ever. I'll see where Leyton is in comparison and how much walking there would have to be.

EDIT: Although it's 3 zones away, Leyton is a non-stop (short at 13mins) tube to Liverpool Street, and there is a bus that will take us to the Porterhouse (or close enough) from there. There's plenty to look at the route I take to this place so we can be leisurely. Alternatively there is Regent/Oxford Street, with the former being a nice stroll to Cov. Garden and quite near to Soho. Depends what you want to do!
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:17, Reply)
Ooh I'd like to go to Brick Lane
:) walking will be fine (I'll bring boots) I just can't do it for ages, because I'm rubbish.
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:22, Reply)
No problem.
I'm taking you to Beyond Retro. With bells on.
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:24, Reply)
do you go to/have you been to spitalfields market by liverpool street?
esp on a sunday it is AMAZING. world-famous falafel stall, and a fudge stand with 250+ flavours, and a cheesecake shop! but they also have a million different restaurants and some really cool shops, like a benefit boutique and some interior design shops with funky stuff in them.
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:26, Reply)
I am partial to a bit of Spitalfields
The route I take is down Bishopsgate, through Spitalfields, then down the road with Allsaints on to get to Brick Lane. Then down there (via the food market) to Cheshire Street, then up again to the Beigal Bake and back the way we came. It's a nice route.
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:31, Reply)
massive approval here

(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:43, Reply)
you can only ever start losing weight on a monday

(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:07, Reply)
I calculated my BMI and I miiiight just be edging into the obese category
so. Yeah.
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:12, Reply)

(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:15, Reply)
-tries to high five-
-can't get close enough due to massive bulk-
-weeps tears of lard-
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:16, Reply)
BMI is bollocks though
loads of athletes etc would actually be overweight if you looked at their BMI!
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:24, Reply)
But the big thing is here is that I'm NOT an athlete

(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:38, Reply)
sounds v healthy for self-indulgent shopping
i love that you bought an advent calendar!
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:08, Reply)
hardly healthy!
Crisps, mints, milkybar yoghurts, energy drinks and a ready meal haha.

The advent calender is for my little sister. She's called Kitty, so I pretty much buy Hello Kitty merchandise and send it to her in the post, because she loves getting parcels
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:11, Reply)
those city kitchen ones are ok, although a bit high in fat, but fresh stuff
i love the mushroom stroganoff ones. and milkybar yoghurts are better than a giant chocolate bar!

ha, my baby niece is called kitty, we do the same thing. it's a great name (although if you think about my surname i am not quite sure it goes with that myself, but meh!)
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:23, Reply)
I have the shredded hoisin duck noodles
which are delicious 655 calories.

It makes buying her presents so easy- just Hello Kitty anything
(, Sat 27 Nov 2010, 0:30, Reply)
there is a service in london
that makes and delivers three healthy meals a day to you. i am tempted, but it is quite expensive. and seeing as how i can't even buy a drink on here without being lectured about tapwater, can you imagine the abuse i'd get on a lunch thread?!
