You need some naan breads or roti

(, Wed 1 Dec 2010, 11:27, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
Fuck naan
Roti or chapatti are the way forward. Naan and rice are too filling, I want more meat and sauce than bread dammit. I've found myself using flour tortillas instead as they're cheaper and do the job just as well. I probably eat exclusively with my fingers for 50% of my meals now.

Booo.
Naans are ace.

there's a restaurant near my dad's
that does a chocolate naan. i have never dared to order this.

but the waiter did make me a special cheesy naan covered in chopped spring onions and peppers last time. it was gorgeous but i could only eat about 2 mouthfuls, i felt dreadfully ungrateful.

They should force Indian restaurants to remove the banana nann from menus because it is
impossible to read it without getting that tune from the Muppets in your head.

WTF
i have never been to an indian restaurant (and manchester is famous for the curry mile) that offers such a vile abortion of a foodstuff.

I've never ordered one, but trust me. They do exist.

I do like chapatti,
I've made Naan bread before though, it's not too hard.
(, Wed 1 Dec 2010, 11:31, Reply)
It's just too bulky for me is all.
I'd prefer to fill myself up with rich spicy concoctions than bread or rice.
(, Wed 1 Dec 2010, 11:40, Reply)
i love rice
best of all the starches
