I guess bacon and mash could work
with wine, and fatty snacky foods for afters.

I might buy potatoes, a masher (if there is one), bacon and white rolls and butter and fatty snacky foods and a bottle of wine and JUST SEE WHAT HAPPENS

just boil the spuds slightly longer than needed, drain the water off, stick the lid back on and shake it vigorously.
