One of you might not wake up tomorrow, are you happy with your life so far?

As for tonight, I have some revision to do, some lasange to eat and once those are done with, a bottle of JD and a couple of hours re-watching "Those magnificent men in their flying machines".

I've had a ridiculous amount of fun but never fill my potential because I'm far too lazy.
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 21:15, Reply)
I lack the intelligence to motivate myself.
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 21:32, Reply)
unless you mean that your potential is what you could do if you were someone completely different.

not so much watching it on tv though. It reminds me of summer, strawberries and green fields, and being able to fall asleep, and wake up with nothing really having happened in the meantime
(, Sun 5 Dec 2010, 23:07, Reply)
I'd rather watch cricket than football. The 'barmy army' can fuck right off though

and this here story I'm about to unfold, I can die with a smile on my face without feeling like the good lord gipped me.

my academic and professional achievements. also my social life, i am very lucky in having lots of amazing friends. and i have the best family in the world.
i am not happy with the way i look. i am not happy with the shitty men i meet.
there may be a correlation between the last two.

Always room for improvement etc.

are generally pretty happy with themselves.
generally without good reason.

There has to be a balance. You can't have everything, but I've got more than a lot of folk.
I smoked a roll-up and I feel guilty, but the pub gaffer was being dead kind by rolling me one and giving me a glass of vino.
Most people I know are very kind to me.
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:04, Reply)
a rollup every once in a while does no harm, especially not if it makes you feel better. And you deserve people being kind

But mostly it's been good.
I made the baby laugh so much that he shouted at me every time I stopped making him laugh.
How's yours been?
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:07, Reply)
i too have been entertaining a baby, although a bit older than yours, mine is just 1. he is divine and he was very good, although even beautiful and on his best behaviour, he has still reminded me to make sure the next guy i shag wears at least 3 condoms at once.

I adore them but I don't see me ever losing sleep or peace of mind over one on a regular basis.
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:31, Reply)
Ive had an incredibly productive day.
Even if i wasnt an insomniac, my brain is so wired with happy I wouldnt be able to sleep for ages
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:09, Reply)
and going to bed. You'll wake up 3 hours later refreshed :/ So I'm drinking green iced tea.
I'm never fucking happy with anything. To die peacefully in my sleep would not be that much of a big deal for me, although there are a few things that I'm looking forward to in the near future I have no long term plans and I don't really give a shit about anything.
I've not had a bad life by any means, I've been very very lucky. I'm just not too fussed.
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:00, Reply)
I often wonder whether insomnia is driving me very slowly and quietly insane.
Good weekend?
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:02, Reply)
I'll probably go to sleep again soon. Only to wake at 5 in the morning or something...
Fairly good weekend. Watched the cricket until tea Australia time, but doing other shit while doing that (watching Charlie Brooker, arguing whether Olivia Wilde was fit or not (she is), discussing the portrayal of bears in games and other shit like that) You? When are you coming to London?
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:07, Reply)
as is Charlie Brooker. Well not hot, but oddly attractive.
I hope to be in London quite soon :) I have a free ticket down as it happens

I am re-tempted to dye my hair red. Not because of Christina Hendricks just generally
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:25, Reply)
I think that'd look quite nice, but how pale are your eyebrows? You don't want to accidently wash yourself out.
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:27, Reply)
I'd probably just use a bit of pencil on them. Not sure whether to go natural or something more dramatic. Not sure if I could pull it off without looking like goth gone wrong

Though he did admit he couldn't understand how he ended up with Konnie Huq.
I personally love Simon Amstell. /most pointless crush ever
Excellent news! Of course if it is Thursday you're coming I will NOT be able to see you. It's the Christmas Party and I will be looking HOT.
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:14, Reply)
people pretending to be Charlie Brooker piss me off a little bit. Konnie Huq is pretty and actually has a really good sense of humour so I'd guess those are good reasons.
Ticket is transferrable so I shall pick a suitable date

I'm not going to pretend I know what's going on and what makes a good game, but if we're playing well that's good.

If I died I don't think I'd care. Why would I? I'd be dead. If dying meant you were in your body but were just stuck in there with your thoughts whilst six foot underground, yeah alright fuck that. Once you die you're gone, nowt happens so who gives a toss.
