they are both teachers and by the sounds of it have to work late into the evening every night of the week, and on sundays

I don't have a great deal to do. Invoices and forecasts for year end. Unfortunate timing that they come out today and need to be done by thursday and because of my secondment means I don't have the time to do it.

everyone thinks we just work short hours and have big holidays. Fair play, though, I mostly love me job, it just gets in the way of having a life sometimes
