Right this fucking moment...
Pretty much everything is pissing me off big style.
I'm prefuckingmenstrual. I found a lump in my breast a couple of weeks ago - going for a mamogram/biopsy et al on Tuesday. I'm trying to be upbeat about the whole thing for the sake of those nearest and dearest to me; to be honest it's starting to freak me out a bit now.
I had stopped the ciggies but I'm sure as hell gonna have one now. See if I care.

Sorry about the inappropriatness of that. Just needed to *get it off my chest* if you''l pardon the pun.

Promise to resume normal filth in t'mornin.

hoping for the best
My better half went through that, no fun.

I'm hoping it's just a cyst or some bit of fat that is nowt to worry about.

Hang in there - looking forward to the rudeness to resume tomorrow.

*hug*
I really hope it turns out to be nothing for your sake - keep us posted and if you need to talk, gaz me or look me up on teh MSN. xxx

You poor dear
I hope all goes well on Tuesday.
(, Fri 2 May 2008, 1:48, closed)
You know this already
But thick and thin, I'm there. Even if I hadn't booked Tuesday off anyway, I'd get the day off.

If being stuck in a hospital waiting room is the most I have to worry about, then fuck it. I'll take a book to read in between tests. And we'll go for a pint afterwards. Yay for beer!

And you'll be fine - I know it. My own experience with a lump tells me so. Turned out fine. And worth the slight embarrassment of lying on a bed 'tackle out' in front of a lady doctor who was at least 10 years younger than me...

Just realised...
Not a lady 'Doctor Who'. I meant a lady doctor, who... there's a subtle difference...

But if there ever was a lady 'Doctor Who', my money would be on Joanna Lumley... Except she's done that already, sort of, for Comic Relief.

*Disengages geek mode and goes to bed*

you poor dear
stop worrying about everyone else and take time for yourself. this is something you're dealing with that nobody else can deal with for you, it's alright to be upset and even a little scared. you've done the right thing by getting it seen to straight away. remember, the majority of cases turn out to be nothing more than lumps of gristle.
my thoughts are with you.

Sorry to hear that.
More often than not that kind of thing is nothing to be concerned about - Often lumps and bumps in breast tissue are just hormonal glitches.

Hope everything is OK.

Me too
I have this condition thing that gives me little lumps in my breasts every now and again. They're harmless but everytime a new one appears (not very often) I have to book myself an appointment and go and get a biopsy just incase it is anything bad this time.

So yeah, it is scary and irritating at the same time :(

All the best, I'm sure you'll be fine xxx

*Hugs and kisses*
Hope it's ok. It will be because you can grab your boob and swear at it till the lump goes away : )
(, Fri 2 May 2008, 8:33, closed)
Keep swearing. It's therape..therapue... good for you
Odds are that it's nowt to worry about, and you're 100% doing the right thing getting it looked at straight away.

Try the Nicorette inhaler jobbie. Better than patches as you just have a quick blast when the cravings are worst.

(Doesn't work on weak-willed maggots such as me, though.)

Thank you all for the good vibes!
I particularly like BGB's idea of swearing at the fucker til it goes away!
Nicotine patches..... can't remember who it was, but someone posted about them recently; apparently they do work if you stick them over your eyes so you can't find your fags :o)

feels like saying "fuck" more than normal
How restrained.
Say shit fuck and bastard if you want. Loudly.
Rail against the iniquities and injustice of the fates if you will.
Just be well.
Best wishes.

I think you should have a b3ta presribed day
of answering every phone call and starting every conversation with "CUNTED IN THE FUCK" and then carry on as if nothing was different.

Hope it all goes well.
