This is a question Pubs

Jeccy writes, "I've seen people having four-somes, fights involving spastics and genuine retarded people doing karaoke, all thanks to the invention of the common pub."

What's happened in your local then?

A certain Bristol pub
has a distinct shortage in the number of toilets.

The men's is bad, the womens is worse, which leads to a lot of women frequenting the men's cubical.

I try to tell them that men's toilets are non-speaking areas. But they never listen.

I was queing for the cubical when one girl decided she wasn't waiting, so she stood in front of me, squatted and used the urinal trough. That was special.

Editted to add: being in Bristol I think it's a shame I didn't think to say "Oi can see your tuppence"

I don't know....
....if I'm sad or happy that I have managed to avoid this place while living in Brizzle.

which pub?
Tell me it's not The Ship. I used to work there...
(, Fri 6 Feb 2009, 16:55, closed)
It is not the ship
If you mean the one near Park Street...the manmanager there used to be weird. I think this was around 2000

Is this
the Hatchet?

I was sick in there...
...on my stag night!

I have no idea why I just told you that.
(, Fri 6 Feb 2009, 17:09, closed)
Yes, yes it is
It's a severely undertoiletted pub

My guess
is Highbury Vaults.
Minging toilets. Minging.

(Only surpassed by the toilets in the Prince of Thieves on Park Row from 2002-2004, but I practically lived in there so I didn't object.)

Oh come on now
The Vault's toilets are nothing to write home about - but it can be fun it you catch it on the right night.

And possibly the steepest twisty staircase
...en route to them. Printer's Devil or the Long Bar for worst toilets in Brissle, though...

I reckon
It's that wine bar on Portland Square.

The toilets there are on a par with The Raj on King Street (although those are in the middle of the restaurant so everyone can see you wandering off to relieve yourself...and time you to see if you have been for a sit down)

There's a wine bar in portland square?
I guess it gives you somewhere to sit while playing "actual prostitute or just skanky" at the locals.

Cosies?
And it's a basement place, so that game's out :-(
