Money-saving tips
I'm broke, you're broke, we're all broke. Even the smug guy on the balcony with the croissant hasn't got two AmEx gold cards to rub together these days. Tell everybody your schemes to save cash.

Food for weeks...
Large bag of cheap brand rice, Milk (powdered if you cant afford a fridge) and brown sugar. Boil up rice, burn sticks fron the back yard or park if need be, add milk & brown sugar to taste. Good for breaky , lunch and dinner. If you get sick of it, just go hungry for bit, then you'll feel like some more.

Yeah, but lots of fibre
at least you'd be regular.
PS: am I allowed to ask - how'd you go?

I would occasionally substitute a meal
with a tin of supermarket brand rice pud. Until people at work started branding it Chunky Monkey Spunk.

Move to a country that's frequently stricken by earthquakes or famine,
and various NGOs will see to it that you get this for free. If you're lucky, they'll throw in some supplements, to hold off the malnutrition.

Or
Rice + oxo cube + cheese. The vet gave it as a recipe for us to feed our sick dog but it turns out to be a quite edible dish.

That brown sugar...
Sounds like a luxury. It's also probably the most expensive part of the meal/diet.
You could swap it for multi-vitamins and we're all a little closer to the meals-in-pill-form / reconstituted slime future diet we were promised.
