Can't be arsed to address climate change?
Simply hold a never-ending series of annual meetings and summits where you refuse to commit to anything, all the while stroking your chins and agreeing that Yes, Something Really Should Be Done. You'll be dead by the time this comes to a head and it's only your kids who'll have to clean it all up, fuck 'em.

There's a better alternative:
1) Invent something relatively cheap to manufacture that, in theory, could save some people some energy when used with lots of planning.
2) Sell to energy companies for "Carbon Credits".
3) Trade in the credits for money.
4) Profit!
...
5) Actually contribute to pollution and energy use by making something pointless.
6) still don't actually plan for how to use less energy or deal with the inevitable pollution we're causing.

Just because you want to leave a better planet for your children.
Doesn't mean you shouldn't focus on leaving better children for the planet.
