They shovel their shit down the necks of everyone who walks in and the management is more fucked up than Heather Mills. There is really no need to add to it.

I only know of this as I worked there a few months ago and was sacked over the phone by the Assistant Manager.

did a obscure promotion one day during which the all-female staff wore nothing except an apron.

Whats so bad about it?
I've been to a few and they throw free stuff at you just for feigning an interest in what they have??? Though I do love he fact they use natural products and are very open about the ingredients, I'm happy to pay for if I know what I'm getting is animal cruelty free (though I do love meat...).

Plus the last couple times I went I spent about £15 and they gave me £20 quids worth of stuff free each time plus got a very sensual hand massage and would have happily bought the shop on the outcome of it!!!

Doing a bike ride for them in two weeks, talk me out of it!!! I'd rather not do it as it's my day off!

There's not a lot bad about it, appart from them ramming it down your throat every time you go in. And when you don't go in to their shop, they pump it out onto the street like nerve gas!!

And to get out of the ridiculous bike ride (I've read about this, it's completely ridiculous!)... Lie.

Not defending them but...
I worked at Lush HQ for a while and some of me best mates still do (one is a room manager). The product itself is pretty good, all made by hand etc... but sounds like shop managers need to sort themseleves out! Probably should have complained to head office, but your story fully sucks!

I did walk in the Bristol store other day, staff were ok but they did pounce on me as I browsed the shevles. If you think the store smell is bad, the factory stinks the whole industrial estate out! erugh.
