Ever come down in the morning cooked up some porridge and found that you've run out of salt?
Knock one out into your porridge and stir in throughly for a salty alternative.

Because I had the snip years ago,
I often knock one out into a bowl and then add a few porridge oats before throwing it onto my wife's tits so I can say with confidence that I can still sow my oats.

you put salt in your porridge?

Yes, because...
... it's porridge.

Anyone admitting to taking the sweet vs. savoury option on porridge at my school might as well have started discussing what was in their flowerbeds, or demonstrating their flair with colours. As Viz would say.

Some English and Edinburgh people sweeten their oats, which does little to break that mould.

I like half salt and half sugar
The convergence of the two is like a beautiful moment.

I do the same with popcorn.
There's a lot to be said for combining the two. Perhaps from now on I'll just order sweet and spluff on it though.
