I mean - let's face it - the defence is to walk away quickly. Wow. That's an action movie right there.
I've upset a few people expressing this opinion, and it's amazing how seriously they take it, considering zombies aren't real.
These people are generally self-acclaimed atheists with no belief in the supernatural, too.
Of late, however, more milage is to be gained in expressing how the development of vampires sparkling is an excellent one.
This can lead to the black-clad poetry-writing teenagers getting VERY angry.

Where at the end, the heroine realises that though scary, the zombies are really slow, and she escapes by walking away quickly.

Patricia Tallman is particularly hot throughout that film.

if zombies moved slowly. (The supposition is inherently flawed as statistically you're far more likely be a zombie than a survivor.)
Also, Left 4 Dead is well, extremely fucking difficult even with a large supply of automatic weapons lying about.
As for vampires, 99% of vampires are rubbish, even Luke Goss in Blade 2.

Zombies don't have to have anything to do with religion or other supernatural beliefs -- they could just be a result of a brain parasite or similar.
Vampires, on the other hand, are a shitty and inconsistent idea that's so full of logical flaws that almost any use of them ruins the story. Well, apart from The Addiction, perhaps.

MY make believe is better than YOUR make believe!

You think that, because I find the zombie scenario more likely than the fragmented and self-contradictory scenario, I "believe" in zombies but not "vampires"? On the contrary, I just find the former more believable and a little more consistent -- but that's saying something.
