He's not that bad.
Granted he's overrated, but at least he's not that Rawling bitch.
Hitchhiker's is OK, but Adams' best work lies in the Dirk Gently novels.
Neal Stephenson is a proper geek author though.

The arrogance of taking your view of something as subjective as literature as gospel, and slagging off those who don't agree with you with a bunch of stereotypical ad hominem attacks, is breathtaking.
