This is a question Weddings Part II

Attending a wedding is like being handed a licence to act like a twat. Oh how I laughed when I sobered up and realised I'd nicked most of the plates and cutlery from the posh hotel lunch and those vague memories of stealthily exiting like a cat-burglar had in fact involved falling out of the hotel, knives and forks clattering onto the steps.

Tell us more of your wedding stories.

From working in a bar I have established the following rule:
The amount of JD & coke people order at a function is in direct proportion to how chavvy it is.

That is all.

you should only ever drink JD with ginger ale, ice and a piece of lime

Coke is a terrible mixer, as it overpowers the taste of the spirit.
I prefer my whiskies straight, but ginger ale is quite complementary, if a longer drink is required.

I like the bit where the containment unit is shutdown, and they all escape to terrorise New York.

I once worked on a community centre bar that would sometimes get booked for receptions
We had an ethical alternative brand of cola, as the management regarded Coke as a dodgy corporation. It tasted pretty much identical.

The realisation that they couldn't have "proper coke" caused many a chav meltdown.

No one comes out well in this sorry tale.
