Any band where you can't hear/understand the words (If there are any)I'm not just in to music for the damn instruments, I wanna hear how they sing and stuff. And screamo, death metal etc. is not singing. Those are the sounds they make in horrific B-movies.

It's about versatility.If everyone used their voice in the same way, there'd be nothing but indie. I don't like opera, but at's an artform. If you have intense music with overdriven guitars, brutal drumming etc. it makes sense for the vocals to be 'distorted' also.
