Has anyone else been having problems with Firefox 2?
Ever since I installed it my browser keeps on freezing up on me. Sometimes to the point where I have to restart the computer.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:10, archived)
Not me.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:11, archived)
HA HA!
/nelson

erm.. that's a no.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:11, archived)
yah
I have too. It's shit.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:11, archived)
Aha!
So I am not the only one. I take it your earlier versions worked fine?
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:15, archived)
Yes indeed
I think it actually might be the re-draw on my Mac that's doing it.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:18, archived)
Nope, mine has been fine since install.
But then, I am AWESOME.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:12, archived)
Maybe this is why my firefox is fine.
HAVE YOU HEARD THAT THERE'S A LOT OF BORING PEOPLE WHO HAVE DECIDED THEY, AS A GROUP, ARE TIRED OF MY "JMG IS ALMIGHTY" SPIEL?

My ego is practically bounding from thread to thread because of this. I'm fucking awesome.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:13, archived)
you're a cretin with severe insecurity issues
and you're tedious

and you're ignored now
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:15, archived)
You miserable shit.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:18, archived)
It's odd HOW they decided that post angered them.
It's all fun and games Bud. They're all copying each other.

My ego loves it.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:21, archived)
So do their's.
God, I'm sick of coming to a place that is supposed to be funny, but is filled with miserable humourless twats.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:23, archived)
You can't have fun with these people anymore.
It's going downhill and we're going to save it Bud.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:23, archived)
Let's face it, we're two of about five reasons why people still show up.
We need Emma here, to lay down some cold, hard FACTS.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:24, archived)
She's a girl, they'd listen to her.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:25, archived)
This place is supposed to be funny!?
*buys funny hat*
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:23, archived)
I always saw it as funny, when it was just the picture board.
I figured people came here to read something a bit funny, a bit different.

But in reality, it's a hive, full of useless fucking bees. Bees with no buzz.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:25, archived)
The funnier pictures are a hoot.... Whereas /talk started out good but has since turned into an AOL chat room.
Boring people huddling together and picking on people who stand out.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:27, archived)
DON'T BREAK FROM THE HERD.
You'll be singled out and shot.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:27, archived)
Haha!
Exactly.

I was linked to some thread earlier where I was slagged off for being in a clique?

They've clearly forgotten that I am the ANTI-CLIQUE! Ha! Hillarious.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:29, archived)
AS everyone knows, I'm responsible for ALL cliquey behavior.
Despite not attending bashes with 'The In Crowd™'
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:34, archived)
All these bash people will come home, log on, and tell me I'm in a select crew who discuss about others behind their backs, too.
I'm very, very confused by it all.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:36, archived)
It IS terribly confusing.
They all want the interesting people to shut up, so they can get on with being DULL AS FUCK.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:37, archived)
You know.. You'd think this was almost comedy.
But it's damn near the actual truth.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:38, archived)
I'm deadly serious.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:39, archived)
Clearly neither of you like it here, surely it would be better to leave?
Or you just like hanging around saying how you hate it here, and have better things to do but then just hang around some more?
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:34, archived)
I don't hate it.
I hate the hypocrisy perpetrated by incredibly dull people, such as yourself.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:34, archived)
haha
Very good.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:35, archived)
You want me right up you.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:36, archived)
I defended you.
You're a national treasure. Like the cock of the north.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:15, archived)
Fuckin' A!
:D
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:22, archived)
You are clearly mistaken
Those people do not need to inflate their ego by self profession of awesomeness, as they are clearly aware how fucking ace they really are. You are a false prophet.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:15, archived)
NO ONE ON THIS BOARD HAS A FUCKING SENSE OF HUMOUR ANYMORE.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:21, archived)
Very true.
I wouldn't get this if I went to their bashes and were their mates.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:22, archived)
EXACTLY.
WE should stand strong against the backlash.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:23, archived)
Or perhaps they are fed up of this continual tripe being trotted out day after day
and not being inventive with it, or interesting?
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:25, archived)
I don't see many other folk here being as interesting or consistently funny as Jammy.
Most people just post tedious links and complain about the people that are actually interesting.

It's odd.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:26, archived)
If you think professing how awesome he thinks he is
as interesting or funny then that definately is odd. He seems to do little else.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:28, archived)
And what do you contribute?

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:29, archived)
A great deal.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:31, archived)
Are you professing how good you are?
I might whinge.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:31, archived)
But I only do it once a year.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:32, archived)
Stop lying when angry on the internet.
I'm great at this, I am.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:33, archived)
Angry, dear me no.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:36, archived)
I said stop lying.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:37, archived)
Do elaborate.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:32, archived)
If it's "Sit around and tell each other how mundane we all are" I suggest an Emo club Sunshine.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:30, archived)
Do you bring up this argument at bash chat?
What did you have for dinner chat?
Poem chat?
Look at what I just saw on YouTube chat.
MySpace chat.

Etc.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:28, archived)
Yes, I mention it at every bash I've ever been to. Which is none.
I also spend my time on Skype and MSN and Gaz discussing your behaviour with all the other b3tans on my contacts. Which is also none.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:30, archived)
So what's the problem?

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:32, archived)
have I missed some drama again?
/clueless
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:21, archived)
People in 'Taking everything too seriously' shocker!

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:21, archived)
shit? really?
*phones the sun*
*gets them to hold the front page*
*gets tits out*
*gets them to also hold pages 3*
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:25, archived)
Wahey!
*buys tomorrows Sun for the first time in years*
*fwaps*
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:31, archived)
All of a sudden, alot of people who chat with each other have started saying I'm tedious, boring, using the same script..
..All using the same lines to try and provoke me, or something.

JMG, naturally, laps it up because it makes his ego bounce. This makes them angrier. Hillarity ensues. JMG pwnS1!.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:24, archived)
Perhaps, when THEY all get a new routine,
we can consider it too.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:26, archived)
congratulations
on becoming victim of the week.
I am starting to wonder when my turn will be I have been here far too long to have not pissed anyone off.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:27, archived)
To be fair, you don't post anything that people can consider (ie, misconstrue)
controversial.

/controversial
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:28, archived)
I guess not
I did have a good couple of adult arguments with shambles a while ago but we kind of agreed to disagree on certain matters and that was that.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:30, archived)
It would seem that all you have to do to be attacked around here
is say something self aware, and not be self deprecating. Oh, and occasionally defend people that are not accepted.

It's also apparently OK to troll like fuck, people seem to be very accepting of it.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:31, archived)
Like defending someone who regularly posts how great they are,
that sort of trolling?
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:40, archived)
You've took your time with this one.
To be fair, that's not what I do ALL OF THE TIME, and it seems you get yourself wound up by it more than most.
Calm down dear, it's just the internet. It's not real.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:48, archived)
I get involved because it's dull, and isn't interesting as Bud keeps wanting the board to be.
Your cornetto joke was fine, so clearly you do have some sort of sense, why not give up your persona.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:57, archived)
I think I could have a virus that Avg & Anti Vir are not picking up then.

(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:14, archived)
Its not firefox 2
Its "Gay Aids" v2.6
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:12, archived)
My mistake,
sorry.
Edit: Ooops, NSFW!!!!
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:13, archived)
Its a common error
and thats NSFW!
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:13, archived)
mine's fine
apart from not being able to alt + ] between posts on b3ta
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:12, archived)
have you installed some wanky extension that doesn't work properly in version 2?
Try updating the extensions?

Have jam and spunk handy just in case.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:13, archived)
Yes,
I shall go & remove those extentions that no longer work. Thanks.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:17, archived)
nah
you lose
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:13, archived)
No
Is it 2.0.0.1 that you are using? I had problems with it switching the extensions off a couple of days back but it seems to be fine now.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:17, archived)
Yes,
Gilo, just said something similar, I am going to try that. Thank you too mate
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:18, archived)
Didn't seem to like
StumbleUpon very much- or Greasemonkey- but they are both working fine now.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:21, archived)
buggy as shit for intel mac
I gave up and use safari now.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:19, archived)
I am not sure if I have installed it
I hardly ever use firefox.
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:20, archived)
Yup
Both Firefox 2 & the latest Thunderbird (1.5 something)- its odd, I click to open, nothing happens but the process is running. Kill the process, open again & this time they work. It is fucking annoying :(
(, Tue 26 Dec 2006, 21:29, archived)
