Mungo.
:(
Hangover.

Fat tips?
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:48, archived)
Have a Bloody Mary
with plenty of Tabasco.
It will make you feel better.
Remember to include pepper and celery.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:50, archived)
eat some Maccas?
That'll getcha putting on the kgs.....

Otherwise Powerade and water for the hangover. No paracaetamol though - you'll start hurling.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:51, archived)
Tea
And toast and bacon
And then man the fuck up soldier
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:53, archived)
I've already hammered up some shelves.

(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:55, archived)
That's a good start
Then get out in the garden and do some digging or hedge trimming. Power tools will cure hangovers.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:59, archived)
This is my hangover cure.
Buckets of tea bacon and fried egg sarnie, then get on with the day in hand. Oh and also, have a shower and the all important hangover poo.

You feel much better for getting on with stuff rather than wallowing.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:16, archived)
More drink
Or lots of carbs.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:54, archived)
Blimey! The Football!

(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:56, archived)
OH CAPTAIN!
:(
It's a terrible mess. I managed some important dancing late last night but to little avail.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:57, archived)
I approve of this sort of carry-on
best of luck with getting back up next season.
Shearer will be good for the club, it'll be fine.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:58, archived)
I think I might go wrestle a few ugly people to the ground.

(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:00, archived)
Take a baseball hat with sharpened coins sewn into the brim
it makes a handy weapon in a tight spot.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:01, archived)
how did you discover that one?

(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:07, archived)
I read a lot
it was mentioned in a book somewhere

well, it was in "Thud!" by Terry Pratchett
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:09, archived)
I don't read much Pratchett - but I see you folks mention him a lot.
I do read a lot though. Am currently reading "Red Victory" by W Bruce Lincoln and using Jonathon Strange and Mr Norrel as light bed time reading.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:12, archived)
I've never read either of those
but I often think somebody should start a b3ta book group.
Perhaps it will be me, should I have a fit of activity.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:16, archived)
Oooh, now that is a good idea!

(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:18, archived)
What the hell, I'm feeling active
fancy being in a book group?
Gaz me.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:20, archived)
done!

(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:24, archived)
well Red Victory is about the Russian Civil War
it's fairly interesting.

Jonathon Strange I have been struggling to read for about 6 months. So I'm officially giving up. It's beaten me.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:19, archived)
Good luck with the next one
books should always be a pleasure, never a chore.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:21, archived)
That is true,
but there are plenty of dry academic books I have had to trawl through that were no fun at all!
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:23, archived)
mmm well I still have a bunch from my birthday in feb
that I've yet to read. So will read them when I get my wisdom teeth out.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:23, archived)
You should try again
it's a rather good story
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:24, archived)
Apparently I'm sorting a book group out
fancy joining in?
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:29, archived)
Errr, yeah, go on then
how's it going to work?
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:31, archived)
I've mailed the newsletter
will take suggestions as to reading material, or just take dictatorial action, and then get an MSN group set up or something.
I don't know, I've just done this on a drunken whim. I'll sort the details out as I go along. People seem to like the idea, though.
Good to have you on board.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:43, archived)
you've read it?
I got three quarters of the way through every time and just went ehhhhhhhhhhhh.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:32, archived)
It's not as good as say, Moby Dick
but it's an enjoyable read, a little long, could do with some better editing, but still interesting.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:33, archived)
Oh Jammy SADDEST of SAD FACES.
I'm sure you had an anti-hangover thread stance
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:57, archived)
Oh be kind
he's very upset today.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:57, archived)
Mornin' sah =)
I wonder what kind of drink Jammy goes for, I was on the WKDs yesterday.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:06, archived)
He likes pinot grigio
and raspberry Cosmopolitans.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:08, archived)
/googles WKD's
we don't have that here I don't think...
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:09, archived)
They're everywhere over here
if they ever let you in, you'll get to find out.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:13, archived)
oh they'll let me in.
It's whether they'll let me extend or renew my visa that's the question in the air.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:17, archived)
Imagine some toxic chemical piss
then go and have a decent drink instead.
WKD is not worth your time.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:18, archived)
I suspect he hides pina coladas inside empty bottles of dog.

I see today is the ROFL moving in day.
Will you girls be sitting up late and reading scary stories to one another?
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:57, archived)
I think some kind of pillow fight will ensue.

(, Mon 25 May 2009, 8:59, archived)

(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:07, archived)

Does it leave your skin feeling all soft and smooth?
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:07, archived)
You're scaring me, Gonz

I'm afraid I'm on SERIOUS INTERNATIONAL BUISNESS at the moment.
But as soon as we get back, we're getting out a tub of nutella, two spoons and being up all night braiding eachothers hair while giggling about SUN GIRL.
(, Mon 25 May 2009, 9:01, archived)
you are on my list of awesome people
simply for liking nutella.
