I think I might be in a state of near shock
I can't concentrate on anything, have a buzzing headache and I feel like I'm about to be sick all the time.

I blame my extensive sunburn.

Go have a lie down with a cool moist towel over your face.
Spastic.

I didn't get any sun burn at all yesterday
despite being out in the sun all day.

I pretty much used a whole bottle of sun cream though

Also, in future, the best thing to do about sunburn is as soon as you notice it happening, do whatever you can to cool your skin.
Sit in the shade, cover yourself in cold water. Anything.

The heat stays in your skin otherwise and continues to burn you. If you sort it out quickly you can stop it before it burns properly.
