Internet logic dictates that you are really a 48 year old balding male virgin.
Living in his parents' basement or attic.

JMG doesn't come on until lunch time.

What pare? You're only 15.

(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:45, archived)
Never mind all that.
Look at my air-con outlet and inlets! I think you will find they are of regulation size and height.
(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:37, archived)
I'd put some insulation on that outlet pipe
They throw out a lot of heat.
(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:38, archived)
Top tip there.
What is the best material for such a project?
(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:39, archived)
Similar stuff to a hot water tank jacket I'd say

(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:45, archived)
Blimey. That's lucky.
There some of that on a big copper thing in the airing cupboard. I'll use that to save money.
(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:48, archived)
Tip Top :D
Can you tell Mrs HB that I tried cutting back those shrubs and nearly broke the strimmer :P I'm going to have to borrow my Dad's brush cutter to hack it back.
(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:51, archived)
I saw that thread.
I shall pass on your sad news.
(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:52, archived)
I managed to clear about a square metre
The strimmer cable then got jammed and I couldn't open the compartment to release it and it was getting late so I gave up.

Today I've got the front garden to clear. Joy of joys :(

I'm choosing to read this as a 'morning poo' response

(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:55, archived)
My edit has made it even worse :P

(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:56, archived)
hammer time?

(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:57, archived)
A hammer might work
The cable reel got gummed up with sap.
(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:59, archived)
Picking the correct size of hammer for this task
is an art in itself.
(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 10:00, archived)
I'm tempted to create a computer simulation
That way I can test the effects of various tools without damaging my strimmer.
(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 10:02, archived)
Good plan.

(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 10:06, archived)
very nice, is it a floor standing unit?

(, Wed 1 Jul 2009, 9:39, archived)
It is.
It's a Pro-Air 9000 but permanently fixed in.
