I did indeed, had to suspend my studies for 18 months :S
Missed out on 30 final year credits, my final mark was just below the threshold for a first because the extra credits I got in my second and third years weren't worth as much :(

Could the uni not sort that sort of thing out? I was SU president for a year and if you were one of my students I would have got you those credits by hell or high water.

Sounds like he good have got them
but would had to stay longer. probably the best choice was the one he took. Unfortunately we can't just hand out credits, no matter what the situation.

I couldn't afford to stay an extra 6 months to earn the credits
There were problems letting me complete my final year as it was, I did better than most so I was happy.

I got someone at my uni to stay and not have to pay for the extra time.
Different unis though I suppose.
