I considered buying stocks in Games workshop cause they seem safe and now they've got the witcher producing shows for them for Amazon. Thoughts?

I'll look into doing that then. Most of what I've got's in tangible assets. If only I'd bought a unique digital portrait of a monkey in a business suit, right now I could be swimming in filthy lucre.

Buy some global (ex UK) funds and North American equity funds to run alongside the UK one. You'll be well diversified.
Either that, or pile in to crypto.

Got plenty of gold and silver for safety's sake, I'm with Bou on that one. But in terms of actually taking on a little risk in order to make a bit of cash I've not done much. There could be some money to be made with property development companies later this year. I believe there are some reg changes coming up re converting commercial to residential that'll prompt a bit of a gold rush.

Over 5 years plus, equities give the best returns. Look at Vanguard's funds. They are such a huge firm that if they failed, it would be at the same time as a huge meltdown, worse than 2008, and pretty much every firm would have gone bust before they did.
Go for a 60/40 fund if you're wary of too much volatility.

I just wanted something physical that holds it's value. Got a couple of decent watches for a similar reason. I'm clueless when it comes to this other stuff though. I'll have a look when I've got some actual money floating around again. Cheers.

I've got a guy who manages a metals account for me. Apparently silver fluctuates in price a lot more than gold, so when silver's cheap he sells some gold and buys it, then when it goes back high he does it in reverse so your gold account keeps going up. Not massive returns but a hell of a lot better than bank interest.

He's got way more silver than gold
Says the parity to gold will be 6x

Always good to have assets you can lay your hands on. Although if society gets to the point where I'm having to use metal to barter with then I'll probably already have been killed in some way, either in the initial schism or later by the local horse militia.

Those muthas will never go out of style, and eventually they'll have some retro value once they inevitably change the designs again.
