You can see what their strategy is.The tories are going to lose heavily, and the only people they even have a chance of luring back into the fold are the reactionary gammons who've stormed off to Reform. So they spew out whatever Mail reader's wet dream they can think of, safe in the knowledge they won't have to enact it.
