cfb (pops), 7x9 woodcut.
Got a little carried away here and there, but achieved what i set out to do -- add a little depth and texture to my prints.

# I'm a great admirer of your work,
are these actual woodcut prints, or drawn/photoshopped to look like them? Even if the latter is the case they're still wonderful and reminds me of all those lovely old books I used to read many of which have been horribly modernised.

# What do you use to press them
do you have a roller or use the back of a spoon or something? I'm thinking about doing some metal engraving.

# i spoon
I've been toying with doing some engravings. I need to practice a bit more. It would also help if i could fully compose an image.

# I like the extra level of detail.
More lines = betterer, if you ask me. Particularly the lower part where they get really fine.

# great!
i used to make these for art in year 12, but stopped because i would always slip up and drive the tool into my hand.

# I love these
They seem (to me anyway) to have a distinctly Russian folk style to them.
