Someone pointed me to the music of Preisner
And I realized I'd truly enjoyed it in La Double Vie de Veronique
and some other Kieslowski...
Proceded to DL all of his stuff just to check it out and while half is rather intricate and nicely composed vocal music, the other half sounds like vangelis stirred by an 80s unicorn poster and makes me retch.

Sod alcohol, these boys fed a fully grown african bull elephant an inhuman amount of LSD
"In 1962, three men at the University of Oklahoma, lead by the idiosyncratic, CIA-collaborator Louis Jolyon "Jolly" West, injected LSD into an elephant for the first time. Their stated intent was to determine if LSD would induce "musth", a naturally occurring condition in which elephants become violent and uncontrollable. After a series of events, the elephant died. There is some controversy and confusion surrounding the cause of death."
