# It's smaller than Supermoores 7MB flash, which was what my attempt started out as. It got a little 'altered' along the way though...

Only 3MB and now with a different soundtrack and different look to it.
Oh yeah, click the image to watch (realmedia)

Click it. I SAID CLICK IT!

*edit* and thanks to the Prof's advice, a dial-up friendly version will be available tomorrow(ish) */edit*

# Buggrit
Why must you always inflict Real on us! :(

Oh, wait - I forgot, I installed it to watch the credits on the BBC "I Love TV" site... I can watch it this time!

(But a non-Real version would be soopah, if at all possible...)

# Um...
Er...

When I was little, I got told that if I couldn't say anything nice, I shouldn't say anything, so here goes:

"                                                                                ,                                          -                                                                . But the old-timey film effect's nice."

# Real is all you're getting i'm afraid.
I tried div-x but my system setup is not working with div-x properly and I tried once again with this a couple of hours worth of encoding. So I'm past caring about divX today and i've done it so at least it's viewable.
(The annoyance is with divx not you)
And no advice please i don't want to think about it any more tonight.

# Don't worry
I couldn't advise you on any of it, I know enough to turn DVDs into files (for archive storage, of course) and that's my limit.

I have no technical complaints at all - and anything else I might have thought of mentioning appears to leave me in a minority judging by the other responses, and as such I shall just sit in silence. :-)

# It was as I say below fustration at blimming flash not importing the audio
that started me on the 'altered course' and more fustration continued but I thumbed my nose at it and rolled with it turning it into a plus :)

# I didn't haver real either
but this has encouraged me to change computers. A good thing, since I have homework to do.

I'm downloading it now...

*edit: Estimated time remaining: 47 min! haha!

# don't moan about real...

# fraid not...
... but the prog i have will do an ace job with video. it'll do microsoft WMV, if you want to try that
(, Tue 8 Apr 2003, 0:23, archived)
# If wmv would let you skip
then it might be worth bothering with.

But right now it's hugely frustrating trying to get to the lesb.. I mean important scenes..
(, Tue 8 Apr 2003, 0:26, archived)
# no.. seriously....
... if you can do WMV, then I can convert it to Flash Video

# I imported the swf file into flash
and it ignored the bloody sound so 'screw it' I thought, i'll give it my own soundtrack, just to teach it!

# I have a couple of other versions
but i've filled up my webspace already. The avi version is quite disturbing especially because i have no idea why it came out as wrongly as it did, I was expecting a fairly good crisp video duplication. And I got something fearful.
I might upload it to some lycos space actually briefly. It's 6MB though so give me a while.

# I've been hacking up the origional movie file
the more I learn about flash the easier it gets. I should be able to get the .swf down to around that size by Wednesday, hangovers pending
