# Wii.....Kinect......Move.

Sony's as much on the bandwagon as everyone else, but at least they can spell.

# Love it
back to the future and modern gaming references converge.
I have had this nightmare.

# I'm surprised Microsoft haven't squeezed in a Kinect advert in to the Back to the Future Blu Ray release
they've paid for there to be one everywhere else

# i can tell you
it's suprisingly not that crap
and i'm not really a fan of the wii/kinect type thing

# "surprisingly not that crap"? fuck me, I'd better rush out and buy one!

# The hardware probably isn't crap.
It's probably very good.
The problem is; there is only a finite number of ways you can incorporate "prancing around your living room like a dick" into gameplay. None of which I want to partake in.
And there are a number of future titles which now have elements that "support" the kinect.
FUCK THAT!!
Games shouldn't support the hardware. The hardware should support the game!
No one wants the Kinect, no one wants to make titles for the Kinect, so M$ has to FORCE the developers it owns to include Kinect-required elements in order to justify the R&D cost.

....grrr

# ^this
now with added grrrrr.

# I had a go on playstation move
the precision of the controller and vibration/feedback is nice for when you are swinging a sword at something, or carefully stacking blocks, but the games released so far are dull or half finished.
It's 30% a good control system 70% gimmick

# I saw someone playing one at LEGOWorld in the Netherlands a few weeks ago.
The lag between the movement and things happening on-screen was quite noticeable.
As was that the game was no more advanced than that Eye-Toy crap.

I love the way the Wii has a separate stick you can hold how you like in one hand, and a screen pointer in the other. The 'motion' stuff is mostly just utter bollocks though, so others trying to copy it (at vastly increased costs, in M$'s case) is a joke. A bit like Silvershite.

If I wanted to do exercise I'd go to the park, give me a good old fashioned mouse and keyboard!

# I'm with Pip.
I don't want to have to wave my hands in the air like I just don't care to shoot a guy in the dick. Eye-tracking in addition to conventional controls would be cool though.

Cock controllers! It's the future.

# Nintendo should go back to making core games
The time is now. Everyone else's fixated on making games to shake your arms around like a retard. Nintendo could go back and make the next whatever they did before the N64 franchise game.

# Nintendo should just go bankrupt.
