but there are times when you see a hundred slight variations of the same pic, which can get tiresome. I doubt it matters during the gay shift as there's never anyone here anyway

nothing wrong with a meme... it's a group of people who obviously find a certain image funny so want to use it in many different variations. Nothing is stopping the other people posting other shoppery. Perhaps it's just chance that it's quieter but i haven't really noticed much difference in traffic than usual, come 12 oclock, B3ta can be 'dead' anyway so to speak.

I don't get that at all. I just make stuff and post it.
If I don't post at noon board-time very often, it's because that's 7:00am where I live, and I'm usually asleep.
If I kept UK/European hours, I'd post earlier board-time, although I'd probably try to stay up for gayshift because I love the company.

Edit: you didn't answer my question either, which is up to you of course, but I was interested to know what you thought.

Personally I think Freebase got overused, although on the other hand I still think it's funny sometimes.
I hope the recent quietness here is a phase. One thing is, there are lots of other easy options now for sharing the kind of pics we post here, and I think that's a big factor.
