Perlease
I still remember the Flash floor cleaner products ad where that old biddy went round in a van and gave 1 whole pound to "housewives" who could show they had a box of flash when she knocked on their doors.
In black and white :)

I went looking for the ad a couple of weeks ago on youtube, would have been a dodgy screen cap though.

I did find a slightly better one but not good for screen grabs
I did hear a story about the making of the advert, which was that the hotel they used for the advert was apparently in the wrong place to be covered in the light from the setting sun, so an entire replica was made of the hotel and it was then sited opposite the sun set.
I have no idea if this is true but it sounds about right for the 80s.

If they did that, they probably decided it was a good idea after watching "The Passenger"
The director built the hotel specifically so he could make this penultimate, several minutes long, tracking shot of the film www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6OLg1n8y6M - the scene narrated by Nicholson who stars in it.
