Apple should make pies - they'd fly off the shelves like hot cakes.

I prefer the apple treats with sweet puff pastry cases
But they sell better if you put them on the upper shelves. You get a higher turnover.

I've never really 'got' the stereotype of the Apple user that some people like to smear me with for having a few of their products
until I met a guy recently who, after I got my phone out to answer a text, was waving his iPhone about telling me how very very latest and bestest it was, and then told me he also had the very very latest and most expensive tablet in his bag if I'd be interested in being allowed to touch it, and got really defensive and offended when I wasn't immediately down on my knees sucking his cock.
THEN I got it.
My iPod is 3 years old, and my Macbook even older, and both are still ticking, which is why I use them...

why is it that when an apple user behaves like that, all apple users are like that
but when a PC user is up himself about his bitchin machine, he's just a geek?

Overly-defensive not well-off pc user
is overly-defensive at not being well-off?

Not really...
I was attempting to answer the question.
But anyway just thought I can pea this out:

You know...I always wanted to shave in the dark...

I would have boasted about having an even better tablet
And then shown him a strepsil. I would then counter anything he said about his tablet with "Yes, but does it soothe sore throats?"

Hahaha!
I wish I'd thought of that.
Or said 'Yes but my 2 year old Nokia 5800 can play Flash and make phone calls, no matter HOW I hold it!'

When we were growing up we used DOS, and we loved it.

Fuck, I forgot how it works.
I use their computers, because the operating system is a very efficient way of working.
I have a cheap and low-end model of their music player, because it works well with the computer.
I have no intention of buying a tablet, because I can't see the purpose of them, other than making you look like a right cunt who wants to arse around on a keyboard-less laptop rather than doing REAL work on a REAL computer.
And I don't have an iPhone, because I'd like my phone to be capable of holding a charge for more than about 12 hours ... oh, and TO BE CAPABLE OF MAKING PHONE CALLS

I have...
...a Macbook Pro 13" which is the best computer I've ever bought and almost three years old now
...a Macbook Pro 15" which work provided for me and which I'm going to try and find a way of keeping when I leave
...an iPod Classic because it was the only player with more than 64gig that I could find and I wanted my whole CD collection on my MP3 player, even though I wasn't all that sold on iPods
...a PowerMac G5 two-processor that I got free from work because they weren't allowed to sell them for some really stupid reason and therefore gave away a good few hundred quid's worth of equipment, and which I'm using as an absurdly power-hungry media server
...and a Samsung slightly smart phone which cost seventy quid and does anything I'd want an iPhone to do (like, phone calls, texts, and crappy little games) but whose battery lasts three days
and a massive inferiority complex that fights with my massive superiority complex for control of my boring posts on b3ta

Yeh that^
I may not get another of their laptops when this one pops tho as I can't see much difference between mine and the new PC laptops now, esp since Microsoft ripped of the OSX and Apple now use Intel chips, so, like, meh.

(also that)
(though i'd probably put linux on it. press-ganging windows into working like unix is too much of a tough time and i need something that works like unix to work. like gcc, gfortran, some form of make and various other shit. and i can't fucking stand cygwin.)
(good god i'm boring.)
