i'm trying it in CS5 and it's shit. the frames just goes increasingly transparent, and doesn't really animate

If you make duplicate layers, then you can re-orient or transform them independently

I think in that gif, I have only one "rotated" layer for each foot. all of the kicking is done with the same rotated foot layer, just moved to different locations on the frame canvas.
