# This is slightly shopped though, France isn't really a tiny planet containing only one market square.

# NOooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please don't tell me there are more French people than can fit in one tiny market square!!!!!!!!!!

# On the plus side
that image is actual size.

# I found them to be fairly pleasant
but I do speak their language, and was with someone who grew up there

# Personally, I've liked all the French people I've met
But I'm sure they were secretly evil.

# i've liked the french that i've met too
i don't speak much french at all, but showing at least some effort goes a hell of a long way.

# Nice work
Always find them quite tricky to get right..
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 9:07, archived)
# Same here
This time I actually remembered to stand in the exact middle of the square, and took images with much overlap all around
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 9:14, archived)
# Ditto
The overlap is the key, but also a centre point that you can easily fake can make life easier.

though sometimes it is better to give up and accept the inevitable

16 images stitched together, 15MP each, some overlapping. The original (much larger than the largest one on flickr) has a lot of detail in it.

# Cuuuute!
And how does your computer manage a 96mb file in PS? Does it run on alien blood? Mine melts with anything over 15mb :(

# Very poorly.
It did crash on the first two attempts at applying the polar coordinates filter, but it managed in the end.
