# QOTW vote- press your buzzers now
What nonsense did you believe in as a kid? (joefish)
The little white lie that grew (macroscian)
My brush with the supernatural (The Hedgehog From Hell)
Enlightenment. What was you road to Damascus experience? (edjogs)

# Please not supernatural
The ouija board question was bad enough

I'll go for Damascus, despite the Domestos jokes Carter USM did 20 years ago inevitably being a feature

I also knowledgably informed friends that wanking consisted of just thinking about a girl in a dark room, and that prostitutes were a religion that didnt like catholics

# Where's you picture?
Also, slight TJ:
I am not racist at all but I have a couple of Indian Auditors sitting next to me and although they both speak very good English with my colleagues, they quite often 'Go off on one' in their native language. I think this is wrong but I would be interested to hear my fellow b3tains point of view before I tell them.

So, do you think this is wrong?

# Or alternatively, just catch up with them later when the person you want to bitch about isn't around.
It's why I usually go to the pub after class.

# No.
When I taught EFL, I would go to the pub with students of age, and they would all make a specific effort to only speak English in front of me, out of respect for me, but I thought it was embarassingly (for me) hospitable of them.

# ^ I found myself at a pub sharing a table full of Spanish and Italian peoples who I'd never even met before
about halfway through the night I realised they were all speaking English even though some of them had very limited language skills

I felt, quite frankly, embarrassed by their consideration and assured them I didn't have a problem with them speaking their native languages in front of me

# Well,
you're talking about them behind their backs on the internet. So it's swings and roundabouts, really.
