# I thoroughly enjoyed Prometheus, I don't understand where all this hate is coming from.
Oh boo hoo, it needed a bit of thought to understand it, the Space Jockey wasn't what you thought it was, and it wasn't a prequel that ended exactly five minutes before Alien.

To be fair, though, the ending was pants.

There's a difference between "I didn't get this at first but appreciated it more with thought because it asked a lot of me" and "I didn't get this at first and appreciated it less with thought because it was ill-conceived, poorly-scripted, half-arsed monkey-toss that cannot stand the critical weight of even passing consideration". Prometheus merits the latter statement.
