# I have never properly played a single Half Life game.
Though I have them all now from the sale, but I'm too caught up with Fallout 3.

I did start playing the first one, but using a mouse was getting on me arse, I do intend to complete the lot at some point.
(, Fri 31 Aug 2012, 20:43, archived)

# The only game I ever got really hooked on was doom3
I didn't even finish level 1, but wasted months and months playing multiplayer online.

# Kind of like b3ta! :-)
(, Fri 31 Aug 2012, 21:05, archived)
# but you can't uninstall b3ta
it's always there, whispering 'just a quick look won't hurt' and then suddenly it's past your bedtime and you're full of regret and self-loathing which only makes you feel conflicted because deep down you always knew you couldn't just lurk and you were always going to 'get involved' - and then you start to remember how you haven't actually done anything creative for months and all you have to 'contribute' is tired old reposts so you start trying to make pictures at a stupidly late time of night only your heart's not really in it because it's so late and you know you don't have time to make anything half-decent so what's the fucking point?
(, Fri 31 Aug 2012, 21:21, archived)
# Well that certainly sums it up!
(, Fri 31 Aug 2012, 21:23, archived)

# haha
I'd been thinking of loading it up again to see if anyone was still playing.
I used to do okay, but I now live in the middle of nowhere so my shoddy internet connection would probably make it unplayable.
(, Fri 31 Aug 2012, 21:15, archived)

(, Fri 31 Aug 2012, 21:19, archived)
# Gods is ace, but one of the HARDEST GAMES IN THE FUCKING WORLD. Or perhaps it's just the Mega Drive version that's sullied my memory of it.
AB Tower Assault was my fave. Did you ever play 3D? I have fond memories of that, particularly the level where the huge alien gets released from the cube right in the middle of the map
(, Fri 31 Aug 2012, 21:33, archived)
