I remember him now. His epic flounce was highly amusing at the time. As with most things like this though it was quickly forgotten, replaced with the desire for bacon sandwiches thanks to Michael Ellis.

So I did, instructing him that it had inspired me to decide to start my own bar on my return featuring an "Osama Bin Laden" cocktail to celebrate the great man.

My Grandad, very Irish and very much a republican, was once asked by a cousin for suggestions for names for their new son. The cousin was Canadian, had no real knowledge of Irish history and had the surname Collins. You can guess what my Grandad suggested. It was only three months after the name had been registered that said cousin discovered the significance of it. He wasn't amused :)
