I quite like seeing things I’ve made take hold in the wild. My jimmy hill chinny reckon gif is out there and so is the flag shagger jobby I made. I wasn’t in it for the money with those in the first place so glad they are being shared and enjoyed.

Start with a solar collector in the summer hemisphere connected to to a salt/water heat battery array, which in turn connects to a pan-hemispheric megaplumbing network delivering hot water to taps in the winter hemisphere.

It’s called “district heating”.
Currently saves loads of gas in the Danish (and Swedish + elsewhere) towns. Particularly where seasonal heat storages are deployed.
(I work with this stuff, so had to post unfunny and factual comment. Sorry.).

But they hired a short dumpy guy and stuck a generic bald wig on him, glued some earphones on and made a start on the makeup, but then said fuck it.
Maybe casting Hayden Christensen (6'0") in David Prowse's (6'6") role of Darth Vader meant they had to cast short people for all the other roles. And maybe the expense of Ewan McGregor meant they had to cut the costume budget.
