# I just got the sack
...and it wasn't even my fault. My manager left, so they fired me too... Now I'm miserable, because I have to get a new job.

There's only one thing that would cheer me up, and that is for someone to tell me where I can download a desktop tamagotchi pet, so I can starve it and goad it and feel better through hideous cruelty.

Even better if I could change what it looks like and then make it funny and silly and then put it back up for you all to play with.

I'm going to have a fair bit of time to work on it by the looks of things.

well, alright - I was made redundant and not sacked, but that makes it sound like I work in a mill or something - and anyway, I'm only on a weeks notice.

Love the screenshot grabbing icon hiding fun naughtyness though.

So, any Tamagotchis then - I want to change the look and make a special B3TA one which does things normal ones dont - like sneak into your boss's room and play with his computer icons and stuff.

happened to me last december days before i was off skiing, so got the boot and then was obligated to blow all my savings on getting pissed and making random abusive phonecalls to various old bosses.

still the good bit is they went bust and i got a much better new job so chin up son!
