# For all you artistic types
I'm designing a crap CD cover for a graphic design class and have come to this point so far:

I'd appreciate any constructive criticism or any positive feedback you might have to offer.

# you need lots and lots of spoons
make the whole thing out of spoons
(, Sat 22 Nov 2003, 12:16, archived)
# but don't over do it
otherwise you'll have to balance all the spoons out with forks, and then balance the forks out with plums, and then balance the plums out with grapes and so on.
(, Sat 22 Nov 2003, 12:19, archived)
# though i'd like to point out that if you have to make a crap cd cover, as you seem to suggest
don't use spoons, use forks.
(, Sat 22 Nov 2003, 12:21, archived)
# yes
its a delicate situation. you could be there for weeks trying to get the right balance. Also, for added variety, try adding a few snippings from random wartime-era recipe books

You get what you want and it is a real learning experience. Two days ago I changed a BIOS setting and when it went to reboot I got nothing. I didn't panic. I just tried a few things and then got it back.

# Yes and eggs and dairy
The last week we were in our local pub and appetizers were advertized as half off. A friend asked if that included the shrimp cocktail. He was told that no not shellfish. We argued that "they are not shellfish but crustaceans", Well, by time that travelled to the manager and back we were told that "It does not include Croatians."

We just about pissed ourselves.

the colour is very neutral and looks like a million other CD covers out there, perhaps go for less of a 'pastel?' colour and go for more contrast
