# allo
I thought you brits might find it a tad interesting that there's going be a store called The Underground opening downtown. It's advertised to have the latest in mobile phone technology AND retro british pop culture items.

# er
no
(, Tue 16 Dec 2003, 14:22, archived)
# well excuse me.
I just saw the large sign advertising for the store today and I thought "hmmm interesting."
I mean, it sells mobile phones AND british pop culture paraphenalia. How random is that?
(, Tue 16 Dec 2003, 14:25, archived)
# well, putting 'downtown' as a location
doesn't help us much in working out where you are.
(, Tue 16 Dec 2003, 14:26, archived)
# oops...
*hides*

# Not especially
I'm afraid.

In future please limit your new threads to (funny) pix you've made. This should save you from a large number of sarcastic replies and general abuse from the people like me who don't enjoy watching other people's hard work bumped off the board quicker by threadwastes.

Even a link to this shop would've been better, but nevermind, it's too late now.
(, Tue 16 Dec 2003, 14:28, archived)
# Well it isn't random by any definition of the word that I've ever read
but hey! Feel free to thread-jack a post to tell us all about it.

Oh.

# thats not random at all...
if it was a room that had a horse glued to the ceiling, a hunchback called sally jumping around throwing grapes at people while whistling and cilla black shouting how much would could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood wearing a full sailor suit, then it would be close to being random.

# RANDOM!!???
You call that random, in my day etc etc..
(, Tue 16 Dec 2003, 14:33, archived)
# *ahem*
then it would be close to being random.

what's the matter with you guys. I'm sorry if it seems lame. The point wasn't so much that it was British paraphenalia but the fact that it's British Paraphenalia and mobile phones, which seemed a bit odd and funny.
