it was a week after i had bought seamonkeys.
when we got home my father put the goldfish in with the seamonkeys.
the goldfish ate every last seamonkey.
one by one.
and then it died.

and it ate the fish
and then i had a fish that ate the other fish.
and then something ate it.
the only other fish i had at that stage was an "algae eater" with a wee mouth and it wasn't physically capable of eating other fish.
and then it got ate
either i had an invisible fish that ate fish or the fish had found an escape tunnel

my cat did eat my pet lizards, but the only time I saw a cat actually managing to get into the fish tank, it was rather shocked to discover it was full of water
