# I can see a bit of relevance in this one...

# this post has nothing to do with freedom
it's about laughing at sony. I want to know what this dude perceives as freedom, not what he wants to do to "stick it to the man"
(, Sun 22 May 2005, 13:21, archived)
# it has plenty to do with the freedom of playing whatever playstation game you like...
And rather than bitch about everyone else's entries, why not make a few?

# I want to be free
of paying over the odds for software in the UK as compared to other markets.
Hows's that?
(, Sun 22 May 2005, 13:25, archived)
# I am also exercising my freedom
to pour scorn on the idea that we are all going to become Sony's marketing bitches just because they're giving away a Playstation.

# I understand what you're saying
but I don't really think Sony came here to get a decent ad made, I think they just want some viral marketing of their company name. Viewed like that, every post which features their logo is a plus for them. I don't suppose they care too much what the content is. Also, if the mods here are judging, it will almost certainly be a humorous entry that wins, so you can't really blame people for making that kind of post if they seriously want to win.

# they are really hoping
one of the entries will FP so that thousands will see it.

The pillocks obviously don't read b3ta though or they'd know their logo is far too big to be used in an FP image.

They obviously just discovered how many viral images originate from here and wanted to abuse that.

# obviously

# ^this
(Except for the logo bit.)

# freedom to do what?
"freedom to do something sony doesn't like" appears to be a common theme.

They forget that b3ta is largely UK based, not in "we love the word freedom, it means flags and george's genitals America".

# *fantasises about george's genitals*

# The only problem there is that
Freedom is by far the cheesiest, shittiest, cheapest, most under-thought-out name in the history of advertising.

You could call it "Playstation 2: Fucktards" and it'd be better than freedom.
(, Sun 22 May 2005, 13:20, archived)
# I also hate the colour
of the logo.

# sorry, but that
ones bindun countless times.

:(

# now that's freedom!
and if that's what the corporations say they want, then I'm all for it!

# Hmm.. all those isos are from this month's ops2 magazine
And i like sony, so all you people can eat my ass.
(, Sun 22 May 2005, 13:25, archived)
# personally,
i'm never going to buy anything, ever again, for fear of lining the pockets of corporate fat-cats.

FIGHT THE POWER! STICK IT TO THE MAN!
