it's to make the cap look stolen
look closely, the label says "this cap has not been paid for"

possible relative of
the bling phenomenon of wearing still tagged basketball shirts in the US - shows you're so money that you're only wearing new ones, replacing rather than washing. Knacker imitation of having silly waste of cash going on

I'm still confused
by the 'turn up the back of the collar on your scabby polo shirt' trend. Weird.

Teh label 'ting
Is the label from the shop, to prove that it is a sparkly new stolen hat. Like if you buy an NBA hat it has little card with the NBA logo and some yarbles about something or other on it.
The presenters on 'Yo MTV Raps' used to wear all their clothes with the tags on to prove that they were all new, or that they never washed them, or something.

if you wanted to make it look a bit more newspaper like
you should have tried black writing on a white background like a real newspaper!
come on, you know it makes sense.

Oi!
You started a sentence with a conjunction that was not capitalised!
That crime attracts a punishment of death, under the syntax-Nazi code of conduct!

technically
"and" is a perfectly good word to start a sentence with, however this was more an implied continuation of the previous sentence.
and capitals can get to fuck, this is the internet.

So rogue apostrophes are worth pointing out, but lack of correct capitalisation is fine because "this is the internet"?
Perhaps you'd like to produce a list of internet grammar rules for the rest of us, so we are all clear.
edit: i'm just pissed cos you pointed out that apostrophe before i did

well, lack of capitalisation
is considered 'trendy' on the internet. misuse of apostrophes is just ignorant.
You are quite right however, and I shall make more of an effort from now on.
