# How would that work then?

# Tsk!
silly, it has a pen in each hand and draws a photorealistic version on waterproof paper.

# One can open mpegs in imageready?
Does it not slow everything down to buggery?

*tries*

*fails*

Imageready doesn't know the format 'mpeg'.

# It might depend on codecs,
but it works in ImageReady 3 (Photoshop 6).

You could try VirtualDubMOD too- it's free and can export frames easily enough.

# You have to have quicktime installed
for imageready to be able to open movie formats.
(, Wed 1 Mar 2006, 15:51, archived)
# screen capture,
not sure if its a good way or not? but it works for me

[edit] woo by the way arse, feck, drink

# I use

# How to use imageready for this?
(, Wed 1 Mar 2006, 15:30, archived)
# It does work in Prem
In Ready, you have to have the right conversion codecs and newest version (if my senile brain remembers rightly)
(, Wed 1 Mar 2006, 15:34, archived)
# yep
you need to be lucky with the codecs.
(, Wed 1 Mar 2006, 15:36, archived)
# Just remember it being a pain in the bum to update all the codecs and get them right.
so I use Prem all the time
EDIT
Oh, and Sonic Cineplayer can do it too.
(, Wed 1 Mar 2006, 15:39, archived)
# you obviously require
TEH UPLAOD CODEZ!!!!!!!!

# ok Manley
My spakker way of doing it is to play the mpeg then pause it every time you want a still narmally straight on then off if yr building an animation, then when you have a still press ctrl + I
this only works with mpegs
(, Wed 1 Mar 2006, 15:36, archived)
# Aye.
I can manage that, so maybe that is the answer.

Thank you sir.

# PowerDVD has a grab frame thingy
(but that would be MPEG-2 off a DVD),

Media player has some key combo apparently, but I can't be arsed looking through its help files for it.
