I've ended up with a simplified recipe, as follows: cup of flour, cup of milk, egg.
Works fine.

in dinner dress goes on blind date meets Hilary he impresses with BIG LIES on trading (Nick Leesom) and they get the darn thing on and then it's all going well but Pip insists Hilary wear special ELF EAR COVERS over her rabbit ears and then Hillary gets really upset and is crying in the kitchen and Kat tries to comfort her but Hillary swiftly reverts to being nasty (?Kat's prudery?) and then Pip is wandering through the house singing "Mr Loverman" and those neon underpants HAVE to come back into it, and I don't know what to do about Jack because he's a little chainsaw weilding darlin'.
