# wow, 55 miles an hour

and drive at 60 MILES AN HOUR!!!!!!
(, Sat 1 Jul 2006, 10:54, archived)
# NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
that would set a bad example to children, so they would not do that.

# sweet!
so he can look at things on small glass slides?

why didn't he just look at the slide with his robo eye without changing?
(, Sat 1 Jul 2006, 10:59, archived)
# because despite being a microscope, he was able to function as a telescope.
(, Sat 1 Jul 2006, 11:02, archived)
# wow!
again though, if he has super powered robo eyes, why bother changing shape?
(, Sat 1 Jul 2006, 11:06, archived)
# For the exact same reason a dog licks his balls.
Because he can.

That really is the shittest toy on earth.

He'll probably be the one that saves the day. Bleddy producers and their morals.

# It's directed by Michael Bay, the man behind "The Rock" with Connery/Cage...
so you may well have hit on something.....

# Yup, 'Soundwave'....
/god, how the hell did I remember that from all those eons ago?

- bigger problem is this, if they do megatron, (robot to gun) how are they gonna get over the 'size' issue, I mean - Optimus prime, bloody great Truck... Megatron - puny rifle...

# im all for it personally
I loved transformers. also, Steven Speilberg is a producer on th new film so it cant be all that bad.

btw: Megatron was the best, even if he did run away scared in EVERY episode

# The director though
was responsible for Armageddon and Pearl Harbour. Two of the worst films I've ever had the misfortune to see.
(, Sat 1 Jul 2006, 11:39, archived)
# Armageddon is unbelievably bad
I reckon half the budget went on giant illuminated countdowns.

Awful, and I shall never watch Pearl Harbour.

I did see The Island the other day though, that was pretty good, all the way up to the end which was utter ridiculous and spoilt it.
(, Sat 1 Jul 2006, 11:43, archived)
# I've still got an original
and boxed up in mint condition Optimus Prime up in my loft.

I may be tempted to see how much I can flog it for when the film comes out and peoples interest is piqued again in Transformers.
(, Sat 1 Jul 2006, 11:41, archived)
# maybe £60 if you're lucky
but there are a lot about on Ebay it seems

and when the film comes out the market will be flooded.

I say you should probably get it out of its box and play with it now, at least you'd get some enjoyment then.
(, Sat 1 Jul 2006, 11:46, archived)
# Fuck it,
I've got shit loads of toys and stuff from 20+ years ago sat up in my loft.

I'm too lazy to ever get around to selling them, I'll pass them onto my kids one day probably, whether they like it or not.
