a level of faith not seen since the airship, and look where that got us, the hindenburg disaster!
i mean come on!

i mean come on!

about that the other day, didn't see the end as it was 4am and i had to be up for uni at half 8
but if they ever found out what actually caused it and protected against it i reckon there'd still be a level of airship travel today (in a similar vein of the transatlantic cruises that still occur) as it was quite luxurious and gentle

the new mythbusters with the lady and two random blokes? or proper mythbusters??
but not watched it for a couple of years either way as i don't have discovery
what did they come up with? from the tone of the doc the official enquiry couldn't come up with a rock solid answer (as i said, i missed the end)

the closest they could figure is that the stuff they'd coated the outer skin with was highly flammable and, combined with the gas inside, all it would have taken was a tiny spark. the experiments were awesome!

would've been a surprise it didn't happen before, but it's always going to be open to speculation.
from the doc it looks like one of the canvas panels broke free for some reason, but that's from one of the ground crew's testimony (no one else saw it) and the tv cameras didn't catch it on the day.
i suppose it's easiest to blame the nazis as the designer didn't like em either

every time it said, "Bare left," we would shout, "Where!" and look out of the left window. It never got old.

that are basically hospital-grade speed. they've taken me off them and my sleep pattern is messed up. the only way i can get up early for an appointment on friday is to do a thru-shift tonight, go to bed early tomorrow, then have 2 days of well-timed sleep.
