It really annoys me.
Why do people do it?
They belong in existing threads.

They belong in existing threads.
That's not an excuse, it's an admission of guilt.
DON'T PEAROAST IN NEW THREADS, IT IS JUST RUDE.

Well, cockchops
First, I wasn't actually sure if I had posted it before, and even then, certainly it wasn't a new thread anyway.
If it's that fucking heinous, ask a mod to disable my account or fuck off.

Or, the third way,
raise the issue and ask you not to do it again, please.

I am far from offended.
If I was easily offended I would nopt be so rude to others.

I still feel a bit of a ****, though.
I like this place - doesn't do to piss off the inhabitants.

but if it's not in a new thread then it can't be entered in to the challenge, what? oh, it can?
ok, well if its not in a new thread then no one can click I like this. What? what now? eh? oh, oh it can do that too.
No, it's quite pointless

No, it's quite pointless
most likely
but let's face it, everything this evening is likely to be a pea roast and I thought the thread below would be better left to those complaining...

peas belong in existing threads.
this got pushed off the board for this.

people will still pea no matter how much flaming happens
get over it

Less people pea as they learn of the general disgust most people have for it.
It's so rude and selfish - I just do not understand why people are so barefaced about it?

if we can curb it ever so slightly it means the first two days of an image challenge
aren't like trying to read the stickers on Formula 1 cars.
So it would be nice if people tried. That said, this challenge should be a cracker for slower posting as each image needs to be put in the oven for an hour and then left to cool first.

I LIKE pearoasts for image challenges - they please me.
I just like them in existing threads.

I just like them in existing threads.
So you want all peas (as most of the initial posts are)
In the post saying new challenge is online post then?
( ,

They can go in any post.
As far as I'm concerned, once a picture has had its day, there's no need to take up another new thread with it.

Indeed not
some people felt that their old stuff belonged in existing threads.
Grr!

Theres nothign you can do about it - just hide the posts if its pissing you off too much
its the start of the compo these things happen
No-one has a go at TGA or prodge if they pea at the start

Actually, yes, yes I do.
Hiding it will not bring back the lost posts.

the posts are still there
but face it the board will move at the speed of light
Like the start of any compo

Like the start of any compo
They are not on /board/ any more though
which means that they get seen for less time when someone has worked on them, just so that someone can enter the challenge, which they can do in an existing thread easily.
( ,
Wed 11 Jun 2008, 20:52,

Not to the same extent really
its not all "fuck off you reposting little shit" - Fair enough their work is rather good but it ends up usually filling the popular page
:D
( ,
Wed 11 Jun 2008, 20:52,

:D
a pea in an existing thread can appear on the popular page
just click the Full Screen button in the reply window and that renders it like a normal first post with challenge options and an I like this button. There really is no need to start a new thread.

cocks cakes and zombies
it would seem that reading up, pearoast are rather bad in any sence of the word, and in fear of getting pounced upon by startin a thread with an old picture, it leaves me to repost the pearoast somewhere like here! so in all its glory is a cake, its not even that impressive now.
P.s. i love the haribo cock, i remember that newsletter!
